Lore friendly military veteran outfit mashups.

OK, so again, there are a wealth of modern military tactical outfit mods on Nexus and Bethesda. And to the mod authors credit, most of these are incredible mods with a lot of attention to detail. However, these awesome mods don't fit the lore of Fallout.

I've been struggling to find a mod that adds simple, lore friendly, military themed outfits. Yes, I'm aware of mods such as Militarized Minutemen and Gunner Armour Expansion, and yes, these are also incredible mods, but they are also huge, with hundreds of possible outfit combinations and I'm aware of all the mods that retexture the army and military fatigues so they have real world camo patters.

What I'm struggling to find, is a mod that adds just a few lore friendly military mashup outfits. Because let's face it, after 200 years, most of the remaining military bases would have been picked clean of any decent high-grade weapons and equipment and of those pieces that did survive the war, they'd be 200 years old, so they'd have some significant wear and tear. I'm also pretty sure you can't just stroll down to your local supermarket and pick up a full set of Tier 1 operator weapons and equipment.

So what I think would be a great mod for those who want to keep things lore friendly, but still run a military veteran style build, is a mod that adds maybe 5 or 6 military outfits, that are a mash up of vanilla military outfits, with a few extras thrown in.

Outfits that look like they've been cobbled together from bits that have been gathering dust in an old war vet's garage and bits that have been scavenged from the wasteland army surplus stores. Outfits that show their age, with wear and tear, so they are dirty and dusty, not pristine. Basically, outfits that make you look like a character from a cheesy 80' action movie, or if worn by a group, they'd look like a ragtag militia,

Basic outfits could be things like mash ups and retextures of fatigue trousers, with a t-shirt, a pair of fatigue trousers thats topless, or with a sleeveless top (so you can look like Arnie in Predator or Commando) fatigue trousers with a civvie jumper or a thick jacket. mismatched camo fatigue trousers and shirts, fatigue shirts and jeans.

You could have different textures for the fatigue trousers and shirts like camo, Olive Drab, Tan, for deserts and white, for snowy weather, for variety.

And to complete the look, accessories that have been cobbled together with whatevers lying around, like ammo and grenade bandoliers, utility belts with pouches, and canteens, kevlar vests, baseball caps, headbands, bandanas that are worn over the head, like Tom Berenger's character in Platoon, old helmets that have goggles strapped to them, and packs of smokes etc, like Vietnam style.
