Hello, this is my first post here.

 

I've searched Nexus and didn't find any mod like this. I hate the concept of the same vampire face for each race. Do you guys know any mod, which allows player to keep his face, even if he become a vampire?

To "fix" your head manually, try this in console:

 

Player->RemoveSpell, "vampire sun damage"

You are not alone while facing this predicament, traveler.

You cannot even fathom how this very same issue (Bethesda's way to implement it) hurts me. I will make an assumption and forecast that the solution to this problem would come from OpenMW's Multiplayer branch one day. Let us see in a couple of years whether this prediction is correct.

Also, vampires are a buggy mess in Morrowind, trust me. I spent the last two years of my life working with their stuff. It hurts.

I've just consulted Evil Eye, well, the easiest way would be simply removing the vampirism effect itself (the sun damage part) while keeping all the rest. The thing we and some other people disagree on is how important it would be to keep the original gimmick intact. So, here you are.

Now that I think of it, I recall discussing with Phoenix Rime and Half11 the old bug (Marara being the most noticeable example) when some default MW vampires were losing their vampire heads after reloading cells.

But it would affect these 3 effects:

Sun Damage,

Vampirism,

Weakness to Fire.

In my opinion, making a file to delete it from all actors at once would be a bad idea.
