ArmoredTroll Posted February 25, 2023 Share Posted February 25, 2023 Hello there, I'm having an issue that causes Fallout 4 to lag/pause/freeze/hiccup for about half a second every minute or so. It just started today on a character I've been using for over three real days (72 hours) of gameplay. I've already tried restarting the game and my PC, with no success. 42sheep Posted March 13, 2023 Share Posted March 13, 2023 I just reinstalled malwarebytes this weekend and experienced the same thing in FO4. I disabled it and the hiccups disappeared. I've since started a new character, and haven't encountered the hiccups again, yet. So far, I've tried a couple things, like turning down some of the settings in some heavily scripted mods, like the baby making mod. I assumed maybe having settler NPCs constantly being pregnant and popping out babies might've been taking a tole, seeing as my settlements were getting over 40-50 settlers each. Anyway, I'll see what happens this time, since I've turned the maximum population down and limited how many babies NPCs can birth. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
