[SSE] Put some muscles in to climbing those slopes.

Hallo, if there is one thing that always bothered me a lot is the pg slowing down, to the point you need to hit run, everytime it faces the slighest slope.

I think it's a simply havok setting about friction (if i reckon right) but still didn't found nothing, not yet.

Sooo...if someone more knowledgeable could lend an hand, he will have my thanks and problably everyone else who likes to walks instead of joggin all the time.

Short answer: I don't know of any such mod, although there are a few that deal with climbing. Maybe check mod categories, or enter "climb" to the nexus file search bar or "skyrim special edition climb" to a widenet search.

-------------

What is the "pg"?

As for change in movement speed on hills, I've only noticed it when climbing difficult mountain faces or slides (those almost smooth faced hills that are well above 45 degree inclines?, (I think they're meant to model mud/moss slicks and other soft soils) and that is, afaik slippage (via gravity) rather than some speed-reduction trick. (although you might have some such mod installed for all I know)

I don't think it's meant to be "easy" to climb a sheer rock wall. But console TCL always gets around that.

My main working principle when facing a difficult climb is stubborness and persistence... and knowing when to give up and go the long way

It's also possible that one's level may have some affect on climbing ability, although I can't recall and haven't been low level in a while.

'tsall right friend. no harm no foul. Hope my reply helped a little, even if not "the" answer.

BTW, in case you're not aware, all but the most impassible areas have "footholds" here and there (afaik selectively embedded into the navmesh) that you might have to seek out (I put myself into continuous forward walk or run (default "C"), and then continuously press tap the jump key while I'm translating across side to side to find them when I'm really hard pressed, often in "fast" sneak mode). Usually it's more matter of using the "right" judgement on when to jump while you're at pace

But if you're literally slowing down, outside combat (ie subject to freeze spells or some other slow spell), I'd generally associate that with either diseases like rockjoint (severe) or an overburdened condition (too much stuff for your carry weight)
