I've installed Burn Freeze Shock effects and I assume that is the cause because whenever I shoot fire at something there is always blue squares under the flames. I'm also using Texture pack combiner and a few fire mods. I've had something simular before with Automatic variants but I can't imagine it being the cause this time as it's not something I thik AV will affect.

Anyone know what to do about it? I've tried downloading with NMM and manually downloading and adding to Mod organiser which is what I'm sing btw not NMM. I'm alos using BOSS and SUM and I've tried swapping the priority of TPC and BFSE to no avail.

Screens of the square, Mod list and load order included. I've put my papyrus log in just incase it helps somehow.

P.s. Let me know if you want screens of my MO so you can see the priorites. BFSE is 166, brawl bug patch is 1 and TPC is 159 though. Also tried Setting the priority of BFSE to 111 so it's near my other visual mods (excluding TPC ofc).

Thanks,

Piperman123.

Blue Squares? That usually indicates missing meshes, not a texture issues. Can't say for sure without a screenshot though.

You should really clean those mods that require it btw.

Also, kick out the user rules for the unofficial patches. If you have the latest versions of them, their load order is changed. (see the mod page of one of those patches for more info)

Thanks for the reply.

I've added the screens (I completely forgot lol). 1st one is after I cast flames and the second is before just so you can compare.

Cheers for letting me know about the load order thing I thought that BOSS was just messing it up because it's different than it used to be so I'll remove the rules and let boss put them after their respective main files (1. SKyrim.esp 2. Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp etc.).

As for cleaning the files; I have no idea how and I read on some of the mod pages that I wasn't supposed to with those mods and as I can't remember which and have nigh on 250 I think I'll leave it... or is that going to be game breaking?

EDIT:

By the way wouldn't missing/corrupt or other mesh issues have a more dire effect like distorted shapes or the objects not loading at all?

Thanks for the help :)

For anyone who gets this issue I managed to fix it.

It wasn't Burn Freeze Shock Effects as I thought because as I found out that doesn't make the 'impacts', Deadly Spell Impacts (which I'd forgotten about) was the issue so I downloaded it again manually, overwrite the relevant files and made Mod Organizer prioritize it over TPC as a precaution and all is well now.
