Extremely low FPS

Just reinstalled NV, getting only 1 FPS fairly consistently during the opening intro when I start a new game. Sometimes even down to around 5 seconds a frame. Audio plays normal but the slideshow takes a while to catch up. Not sure how to fix it, I'm not running any mods that should be conflicting. I verified local files on steam, it said 3 files failed to verify but I am still getting 1 FPS during the opening scene.

 

• Windows 10 Home x64
• CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.59 GHz
• GPU is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
• 32 GB RAM
• 652 GB free space on the SSD NV is installed on
• NV Installed via steam

 

I am using the Vortex mod manager. These are the mods I am using, I installed NVSE and 4GB patcher without Vortex:

Try running NV without NVAC. Everything else looks fine.

 

I recommend using Viva New Vegas to ensure you've got all the essential tools and bug fixes installed, which will ensure the game is a stable as possible. You've got most of them installed already, but there's a few others you will benefit from.
