Now this is a classic game....

Now nobody can not love this game. Running around as ape's riding Rhino's and Ostriche's beating up giant birds bees and overconfident alligators, ya gotta love it.

But the Second and third ones were not as good as the first. Taking Donkey out of the pictue and replacing him with a girl monkey swinging her pony tail. It kinda got boring.

But then again theres Donkey Kong 64. Adding the whole family into the piture this game gave a much needed boost to the franchise.

Ya gotta love it.

Ohh I spent many an hour playing the second and third of those with one of my friends... I'm not sure if I ever played the first one. It was the first time I ever explored a world map to get from level to level. I think that was my fave bit. :P

Classics indeed, but damn hard at times :D

i dont really like any games made by nintendo mainly because I think that most of them are dont poorly and are a little childish "nintendo is made for "younger audiences" more than lets say xbox or P2

You were a "younger audience" once were you not? So you must have played this game at least once. Didn't you. Because if you didn't I'm worried.

Yes dam hard but fun. Ya can never enjoy an easy game as much as you can enjoy a hard one. Ninja Gaiden is a perfect example of that.

I disagree. Some extremly easy games are total fun. Have you ever played KOTOR II? Invading the castle on Onderon and killing 10 guards at once with force storm is great fun! Ooo and dont even get me started with force crush!

Yeah I must admit that challenge doesn't equal fun for me, either. If anything it can completely spoil a game. I just played through FFIX again recently but cheated this time, it was actually quite fun to go through the story obliterating any enemy I came across, and actually being able to enjoy the experience without worrying "oooh did I equip the right x!? I should've leveled more!!" etc etc. :P

I enjoy DKC a lot, thats why I'm getting into Jungle Beat so much.

As for nintendo being more for "younger audience" thats an outdated myth. It stems from the SNES version of Mortal Kombat not having any blood. The thought was that they didn't need blood to sell a good game. Of course they found out that Mortal Kombat wasn't a good game, but it had blood. This was corrected for the following versions of the game.

Most games are cross platform anyways. So how is Nintendo for "younger audience" when most games are made for every system? I think even the XBox has an Elmo game on it.
