spend dragon souls to revive

Hi, i got an idea with a mod would make the dragonborn fall to his knees (like an essential npc) and have a dialoge to choose if he would give up or spend a dragon soul to revive and keep up a battle. 1/2 health could cost 1 sould or 1 sould per 200hp. this wouldnt be triggered by triggered deaths, too strong monsters.

(5lvls and above, or the person who would make the mod could decide too)

and sorry if this isnt that good explained because i didnt really know what to say :pinch:

basically you sacrify a dragon soul instead of your own life

would like to have a answer :3

The infinite charges is a bit overpowered, IMO. If you have the Black Star and a weapon with the Soul Trap enchantment on it, that's basically free charges.

I really like the idea, though.

I like this idea. Even better if you could use it to resurrect others and enchant weapons with infinite charges.

how about a new enchanting table with new kinds of enchantments powered by dragon souls? :geek: i have no idea since i have never touched a code in ck x3

Yes, Infinite charges are way too OTT.

But a Dragon soul restoring a percentage of Health, Stamina and Magicka might be cool. Or even 100%.

All it would need is an effect that does the same as the potions of Ultimate Healing, Magicka and Stamina, and a script to detect imminent Dovahkiin death, apply the effects and remove one spare dragon soul from the count.

To make sure you don't die due to script lag, maybe make the Dovahkiin invulnerable at 5% hp, apply the effects then remove the Invulnerability?

But I'd just like something to tell me how many Dragon souls I actually have that have not yet been used to activate shouts.

how about the player would recieve a dialouge? like

"revive (1 dragon soul)"

"give up"

"check dragon souls" or something like that?

No check dragon souls option needed if SKSE is used. The menu could display it quite easily. I could probably make this script in a matter of minutes, so I guess I'll make this mod if no one else is already. I'll work on it tomorrow most likely.

YES! I'd love to know how many souls I have stored up.

That would be an awesome mod to have. I'd surely download and endorse. Of course I may not be using it right away (current play through hasn't started the dragon quest), I'd look to use it on my next one. :D
