As per my title. Whenever I try to download or install a mod for any game, I get a message stating that the download failed with a 401 error, as if I don't have permission to download any mods.

Try logging out and back into Vortex. If that doesn't work something in your setup is causing it to fail.

I was getting this bug earlier today as well for some mod, until eventually it worked itself out and finally downloaded after multiple failed attempts. And now same again for different mod. I'm guessing it's server issue.

there was a change to authorisation in the latest version of vortex. it's fully documented in the .......oh wait.
