CTD when crouching in a cave, possibly lighting mod conflict?

Game crashes in very specific circumstances, I think it is something to do with lighting effects. I'll perform some enable/disable tests but I am thinking there is a conflict between wearable lanterns and the enhanced lighting mod. - Anyone else seeing this issue?

Only occurs when pressing crouch key.

It never crashes outside

has crashed intermittantly inside buildings.

almost always crash when inside a cave

When crouching in a cave/dungeon the game will crash to desktop. Not every cave but most, and not always the entrance, sometimes further in. When I crouch, I notice the lighting starts to shift/darken a little, it then starts to fade even darker and its that moment that it will crash.

I started working through the various mods, disabling, testing, etc...

Seems these two are not playing well together.

Only thing I can think of is because AFT allows me to enable followers that are not normally followers. - Maybe???

I.m having the same issue and have the same mods. This issue has caused me countless of hours of frustration as I was thinking it was always something else due to me running so many mods. But after countless wipes, reinstalls and selective enabling, I am seeing the exact same issue when these two are enabled.

Any fix for this?

Hey guys,

I was having the same problem, but i use UFO so figured it must be cheskos wearable lantern. disabled it, and no more problem. But didn't want to leave it at that since it's one of my favourite and most essential mods.

Long story short, I figured out it only causes CTD when you give it to a follower.

I know this whole thing was posted quite some time ago. Can anybody who had the same problem give me a hand? I removed the lantern mod but i'm still having the Crash issue! I use UFO like the last guy, must I reset UFO in order for it to work again? Or....
