A light for mage players, or a lantern that hangs on your belt

Hello there!

well lately i came back to Oblivion, but this time i wanted to try mods, and that's what i did, and now that i am satisfied with the graphics and the textures, i look forward to a better gaming experience ! so this time i wanted to do an all magic character, i didn't want to use any mod that makes magic over powered, so i used none, i play with vanilla magic and it's good enough for now, yet there is one thing that doesn't help me at all, the torches system, i play with the mod 'let there be darkness' and it's really dark in dungeons now, so i have to use a torch (because i don't have spells that let me see in the darkness yet and i don't want to only use that spell anyway) so the problem is that i use Staves, you know, like wizards, but in Oblivion if you use a staff you can't have a torch at the same time, that is problematic, shooting in the dark leads to missing...most of the time! and here i am now asking people with knowledge that i don't have to make this mod for me and for all the wizards out there ! so could you make a lantern that hangs on your belt or t a spell that you cast who and put a magical light at the end of your staff, the light should be as strong as a normal torch but last only half as long or less and fades after it is worn out :D

thank you for reading all what i wrote, that's a lot i know

Not quite what you've requested, but what about this in the meantime: Gandalf Lightstaff by Tamira?

It can be used as a lighted staff by itself or as a defensive staff when in combat. Very suitable for a mage. Worth taking a look, if you haven't already.

there Is reaper's Oil Lamp

www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/32265/?

but it uses the torch slot and does not hang on a belt.

For the best light rather than looking a certain way, the best for a mage is a light potion. at 100% alchemy skill it shines farther and longer than the strongest light spell you can make.

The early version of the starlight spell can be purchased at a price that a low level character can afford. And it doesn't take so much magica that you are left helpless. Plus, spamming it will improve either your mysticism or illusion ( I forget which) - That, should do until you find one of the many rings of light - usually found at the end of some dark dungeon after you have already cleaned out the monsters. Then as your skill increases, and you start getting sigil stones you can sometimes use one to enchant some other object with light. - all of this is straight vanilla.
