So When I download a mod for Vortex. I get this error:

"Windows prevented Vortex from loading files necessary to complete the installation. This is often caused if you extracted Vortex manually instead of running the installer or because your windows setup or third party software modified access permissions for these files. Please install Vortex or unblock all .dll and .exe files manually
Name: Error"

 

and then when I click show details I get:
 

File name: 'System.Windows.Forms, Version=6.0.2.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'

   at ModInstallerIPC.Program.Main(String[] args)

 

 

 

 

I've unblocked the files in their properties so I know that isnt the issue. How can I go about fixing this?

It sounds like your .NET install is broken.

I'm having the same problem, and I have tried everything. Uninstalling and reinstalling the .NET, and vortex. Nothing will work, and everything was fine about 2 months ago
