FNIS uninstall issues

Took me a second to figure out why my NMM would crash is I try to uninstall this mod, had to close the FNIS generator. With FNIS uninstalled my character and NPCs don't move they're stuck.

When I uninstall FNIS or FNIS dependent mods, of course it go to the FNIS generator and update and make sure the generator gives word the mods were uninstalled. Seems I the only way to play is to have FNIS running. Even with a new game and clean start.

Seems the animation files were overwritten and not reverted to normal. Should I just uninstall skyrim and reinstall it? How would that effect my mods and NMM?

Thanks

I had something similar happen, check to see if you still have FNIS files.

Copy paste from the ReadMe.

I hope it helps!

NMM De-Installation

First, if you have the FNIS Creature Pack installed: Open the Generator and press "De-Install Creatures".
Then deactivate both FNIS Behavior, FNIS Creature Pack, and FNIS Spells in NMM's Mods tab. That should take care of everything. To be totally sure that there are no behavior remnants, delete the following files, if they should still exist:

- Data/Meshes/actors/character/behaviors/0_master.hkx
- Data/Meshes/actors/character/characters/defaultmale.hkx
- Data/Meshes/actors/character/characters female/defaultfemale.hkx
- Data/FNISspell.esp

Manual De-Installation

First, if you have the FNIS Creature Pack installed: Open the Generator and press "De-Install Creatures".
After that, remove the following files or directories:

- Data/FNISspell.esp
- Data/Meshes/actors/character/animations/FNIS
- Data/Meshes/actors/character/animations/FNISBase
- Data/Meshes/actors/character/animations/FNISSpells
- Data/Meshes/actors/character/behaviors/0_master.hkx
- Data/Meshes/actors/character/behaviors/FNIS*.hkx
- Data/Meshes/actors/character/characters/defaultmale.hkx
- Data/Meshes/actors/character/characters female/defaultfemale.hkx
- Data/Meshes/AnimObjects/FNIS
- Data/Tools/GenerateFNIS_for_Modders
- Data/Tools/GenerateFNIS_for_Users

You have no idea how happy I was to find this thread and your reply.

I have just started playing Skyrim again and I have both installed and uninstalled a ton mods. I started up the game and opening sequence was completely f*#@ed(for lack of a better word). For a moment I was just gutted.

After some quick searching with google I found this and it worked!

Thank you so much. :D
