Hello guys!

So I've recently been noticing this really irritating lighting issue, where suddenly darker areas appear real bright and/or fog suddenly appears in dungeons when I take a few steps. I didn't mind at first but now after playing a while it really started annoying me. I've also seen a few other topics that described similar issues but I don't think those people had the same issue.

It happens both with or without an ENB activated. I also installed the Realistic Lighting Overhaul which is compatible with the ENB I'm using but it didn't change anything either.

Here are some screenshots:

With ENB:

after taking some steps forward:

Without ENB:

I only just recently started noticing this and I don't think I've ever had this before (I reinstalled my Skyrim a few days ago and I've been playing for a few years now) so I'd be really thankful for any help!

Hey buddy!

Don't know for sure but I suggest you to check that you don't have any .ini tweaks or mods that modifies dungeons or interior lighting.

Just double-check your installed mods (even textures and other stuff, just in case).

Since when you starting notice this?
Were you doing something in particular?

Did you notice this after making some modifications in files, settings, mods..?

Load order?

Hey there!

Thanks for your answer. Could you give me any tips what .ini tweaks this could relate to? I only changed the ones I had to in order for the ENB to work.

(bFloatPointRenderTarget=1

bDrawLandShadows=1
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
iBlurDeferredShadowMask=5)

Other than that I don't have any mods that would affect lighting or shadows or anything. I only have the Skyrim 2k HD texture pack installed. The other mods (about 20 or something are only gameplay mods and wouldn't have anything to do with lighting or shadows or textures or dungeons.)

After I had reinstalled Skyrim I only started playing once I had all those 20 something mods installed so I started noticing it since the first time I played. It doesn't happen when I deactive all the mods and use the vanilla untweaked .ini file, so I guess it's either one of the mods (perhaps the texture pack?) or something in the .ini file.

I use BOSS for my load order and I followed all the mod page instructions so nothing would conflict with each other.
