need help with CBBE

I am having trouble with CBBE mod. When I load up the bodyslide program I can adjust the body and proportions and create a customized body, but the problems start when I go in game. I can see the customizations just fine and all, but when I am wearing armor or cloathing it covers up the CBBE body and all the proportions and body configurations I have made. It seems to go to a "default" setting. When I take off the armor or clothing I can see the CBBE body again. I have all the mods fairly up to date:

the CBBE mod - latest version
BodySlide 2 and Outfit Studio
caliente outfits for CBBE - both combined pack and soldier pack
Tera CBBE armor CBBE

I also have other mods as well as the meshes that are made for use with CBBE as well as others. All of which I have installed using NMM and checked manually for proper installation.
The mod that I have really been trying to get to work is the Tera armor pack for CBBE. I got the armors and meshes installed, I can see them in game but like everything else, when I wear them they completely reset my CBBE custom body I made. I have been trying all kinds of ways around it, and it seems that I can't get it to work for anything, even when I create batch outfits, nothing changes. I am new to the whole modding skyrim thing, and I hate to admit it but it sure seems a lot more complicated then I originally thought, and I have customized and modified many other games before but this one has me confused. I don't know what I am doing wrong/missing. I am aware that all files should go in the skyrim data folder, and the meshes for the body goes to actors/character/character assets but no matter what I do, I can't seem to get the armor and clothing to stay the same as my CBBE modded character.

I'd appreciate any insight that can help me figure this out.

Dumb question but are you sure the outfits you're using are compatible with Bodyslide 2?

 

Maybe tweek the load order of your mods? perhaps you're using something that modifies all armours like a hi res texture or higher poly models? It sounds as though something is taking priority on your armour over the bodyslide. Try (as a last resort maybe) unloading and or uninstalling all your other mods but the cbbe and outfits. Also are your bodyslide choices going beyond thresholds? If I remember right you can set it to do some outlandish proportions. If so try doing a bodyslide body thats a bit scaled back, noticibly different from vanilla but not over the top just see if that's your problem.

 

I'm positive I'm even less experienced than you but that's what I can come up with. I can't even get bodyslide to work, when I start it there's no presets or anything.
