Is there any way to manually add a game to the NM?

ME2 does not show up to scan either, nexus are not as good as they think they are. I cannot tell if some mods work or not without seeing them in the nm mod list along with plug-ins.      Baffling. Plus there is no half-circle with arrow on nmm main menu!

NMM does not support either of those games.  You can see which games it supports here: https://www.nexusmod...ods/modmanager/

it would really be helpful if the nmm team would allow one to simply add a game (and its path) instead of the incredibly clunky 'rescan'

I totally agree, i have been using NMM for years and have wished for this, it's so stupid that it not in now or even from the start when NMM first came about, whom ever thought that this was not needed needs their head examined.

I don't like how the vortex doesn't have a find manually option for games

Hey I just got a new copy of Nexus Mod manager and while it has a pre-recorded list of games to scan for My game isn't in the list and I would like some information please to fix this. I want to put Subnatica up there and every time I boot in It says I have no games which is a lie because I own several games it isn't detecting. However the catch is the games I own are from Steam purchase because I wanted a perma keep my precious software that cost me a few pretty pennies. I have to do this because I need to instill a way for backup saves on my device because I already have lost over 13 hours progress over what I have done so far within Subnatica itself.

I am having some problems with Nexus Mod Manager. On version 0.71.2, I checked the box "Don't ask me next time." when selecting a game at startup. I was playing for about a  month when I decided to play another game. When I press "Change Game Mode" nothing happens. When I tried to reinstall, versions 0.71.1 and 0.71.2 both go directly to the game I had been playing, without runninng the game scan. That is bad. I just had to re-install Windows 7, so I had to reinstall all my games too! I installed version 0.71.0 and it rescanned my games for me. I did not check the box "Don't ask me next time." this time, so I can run rhe game scan when I want. The button to "Change Game Mode" still will not work. How do I re-enable the original screen that I disabled?
