Alright, so i'm not the kind of person to ask for help when I come across a modding issue, But I seriously hit a wall here. So I finished my load order and discovered that EVERY time I go through Springville at the beginning I get a purple screen of death.

 

I noticed that the cheat vending machine added by RH EVE was flickering so I figured that EVE was causing the problem. I then found out that I had a EVE paradox merge patch for Fallout remastered not installed and checked it.

 

Now I have that "no text" problem which apparently has a fixed ini file, I added the new font lines in my own ini file but the problem was still not solved. So i'm stuck...Either I don't use the patch and purple screen crash, or I use the patch and have no way to start the game. Maybe it's because I'm using the new offical merged EVE but I'm not sure.

My personal recommendation? Remove Remastered entirely and get yourself the Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 patch in it's stead.

You sure you don't mean a Blue Screen of Death? A purple screen of death probably means you're running VMware.

I'm actually using both, heard that thats ok as long as remastered is after it.

 

Also Sorry for not clarifying the purple thing; what I mean is that my screen goes pink/purple for a moment in-game and I can move my character around for a minute with a purple hue around the screen until it CTDs.

 

So Is there anyway to make the new merge work? as in with the GECK or FO3Edit? Thanks so much for the reply.

Well, that used to be the case with the old version of the Unofficial patch.

Sounds almost like your graphics card is crashing. Try updating it's drivers.

 

Fo3Edit would be where one would make a new patch for EVE. If that sounds like too hard a thing to do I could be convinced to share my own patch for it.
