Kwabena
Hey, I just wanted to play Skyrim again, but this time with some mods. So I downloaded a bunch of the mods in the Nexus Top List. I think not all mods are compatible but which ones? I am using the NMM. The game just closes. At first it always happened when i was some minutes into the game, while walking around. Since it started, I deactivated two mods, hoping it helps (enhanced Blood and immersive first person view) now it closes while the first load screen. When i downloaded the mods i didn't have Dragonborn but it was required for one mod so i got it and installed everything again. Can it be a problem if i downloaded the mod version for skyrim without dragonborn? Here is the mod load order exportet from the NMM: GameMode=Skyrim Skyrim.esm=1Dawnguard.esm=1HearthFires.esm=1Update.esm=1Dragonborn.esm=1Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp=1Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp=1Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp=1Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp=1ClimatesOfTamriel.esm=1ApachiiHair.esm=1Falskaar.esm=1skyui.esp=1ReProccer.esp=1SkyRe_Main.esp=1SkyRe_Races.esp=1SkyRe_StandingStones.esp=1SkyRe_Combat.esp=1SkyRe_EnemyAI.esp=1SkyRe_EnemyScaling.esp=1SkyRe_EncounterZones.esp=1Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp=1MorePP.esp=13DNPC.esp=1KhalSpellmakingMod.esp=1Run For Your Lives.esp=1When Vampires Attack.esp=1Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp=1Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp=1Skyrim Immersive Creatures.esp=1Skyrim Immersive Creatures - DLC2.esp=1SkyRe_SIC Crossbowfix.esp=1Immersive Weapons.esp=1The Dance of Death - Dawnguard Edition.esp=1 I also installed this mod manually: Wyre Bash I hope you can help me. Lisnpuppy
CTD at start is usually a sign of a missing dependency. If you have downloaded mods that require a DLC or any other file to work...and you don't have that file then your game will not work. Read the documentation and requirements of each mod. Never load up a bunch of mods and try them all at once. Make backups of saves prior to any mod installations. You may want to just reinstall Skyrim and start from scratch. Good luck. BlackRampage
Download, install and run BOSS and see if it gives you any errors.
Kwabena
Thank you for your advice. I checked the description of the mods again so see what was missing. The missing mod was not in the description but only viewed once I found the small button 'required'. Anyway it seems to work now.Greetings, Kwabena
