Snow too close to screen. Snow too close to camera.

Hey all, I'm having the strangest issue with my PC version of Skyrim. During any snowy weather, large snow flakes are falling RIGHT in front of my screen, blocking my vision. It's as if the effect has been nudged off just a bit so that the snow that I'm supposed to see a little in front of me is too close to where the camera is.

 

This problem occurs regardless of if I'm playing first or third person, which I imagine makes sense with the way that weather works in skyrim, it sort of follows the camera around.

 

I've desperately been trying to find someone with a similar problem, to no avail.

Please someone, anyone who knows how weather effects work in this game, how can I reset the positioning of the effect in reference to the camera?

Not really sure what could be causing the error, but soulstorme, do you mind posting your load order? There are a couple of possibilities judging by the esps listed-CoT having an incompatibility, Dynavision having one, getSnowy, or your enhanced snow mod that I saw.

 

A few of your mods looks outdated. Spike.esm is a file that used be required by some older mods, but now is a relic. There aren't any updated mods that use it anymore.

 

Since you're using them all anyway, exchange your unofficial patches with USLEEP instead. Same with isoku's weather mods-Splash of Rain, Shooting Stars, etc-he has combined them into "Wonders of Weather" which is more up to date. Dance of Death is also outdated-use VioLens instead.

 

If soulstorme could post his load order, we could cross reference a few things.
