theskymoves Posted February 25, 2014 Share Posted February 25, 2014 I've used Awakening Runes Fixes by Schwinni to enable rune slots on most items - including shields - in DAO. (And veetoks' Fixes for Awakening Runes Fixes to cover the clothing that Schwinni missed. One caveat: the installation of Awakening Rune Fixes is fairly complex, and even more so if you use a no-helmet hack or the light armour-uses-dexterity "fix". IIRC, it may also be possible to enable rune slots on most vanilla shields using the cheat menu of The Winter Forge, though that's probably a stupidly overkill way to go about it, considering the overhead of that mod. ~tsm Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kiesa Posted February 26, 2014 Author Share Posted February 26, 2014 I checked threw the over haul of the winter forge and didn't see the option to (could have missed it vaguely recall some thing to that affect being possible years ago) than disabled it as i don't like the npc sitting around camp. but i'l check out that other you mentiond iv got over 50 mods installed with no issues and adding more every day fairly confident i can avoid the pitfalls.
