Interiors too dark with enb?

I've started using Somber ENB and it's amazing. Really like the them and effects in it. The issue however is that interiors are way too dark. Because Blackout has (so I think) stopped all lighting that hasn't got an emitter/source placed inside said interior I assume it is all down too the fire/torches/candles as they all seem to be giving off little to no light.

My photobucket album with relevant screens to show what I mean

(Some possible spoilers their for the mage quests!). Candle light looks brilliant btw, as you'll see in the screens.

I should note that when I started using Somber ENB my lighting was (again, I think) fairly different as I could see, albeit barely inside the dungeon where you go for the 1st mage quest (possible spoilers in my screens!) and was fine with a torch (as I like it). At the time my candle light was more of a burden not like it is in the screens. When I got to the end of the dungeon where you find the word wall the effect of the word wall thing hit and everything went pitch black, I needed like two dozen magelights thrown everywhere just to get out (they were all very dim). When I got outside the lighting was amazing so I assumed it was the game going crazy because I haven't done Helgen or something (I'm using the 'live another life' mod) and I carried on. It wasn't till I went into the shop in Winterhold and realized I could no longer see sweet f.a.

I haven't got the .dll files that are mentioned on the Somber nexus page as a cause of this issue, I'm using ELFX without the enhancer esp and I have tried it without elfx, the starting room for live another life was near pitch black either way. I've loaded blackout after elfx (the enhancer esp as it was the last elfx esp in my load order (trying to play it safe there)) and I have the fog mod they recommend/require. I'm using the injector btw, I always use it as my Steam is a nazi  If it's relevant (I assumed it wasn't a big deal) the ENB seems to flash on and off just after load-screens (everything goes really bright for a couple of secs and then dark again, happens inside and outside). I can screenshot my skyrim folder and show you guys if that would help as well, just ask. I've also tried playing with the point lighting settings for the enb in game but when I increase it so that fires etc. give off an ok amount of light, magic lights are way overpowered and as my character is a mage it kinda sucks. Sorry the post is so long btw I just wanted to make sure I covered everything save you having to ask or whatever.

Hopefully you can see the difference before the issue and after in my screens, I've tagged them for your convenience

Thanks

-Edit

I threw in a pic of a horse in my game incase anyone know how to fix that as well, sorry I know it's off topic but hey :P

Thanks but, no. like I said, 'I haven't got any of the .dll files that they warn of on their nexus page'.

I've played with the point light setting again and added a new pic too show the result (the old character in the riverwood inn) and fire and stuff seems ok but then I get magic lights that are way too bright

- Edit

Would be handy if there was a seperate setting for both fire/candles etc. and magic lights... don't s'pose it's that easy though huh?

K, I'll try when I get in. Will this not over brighten my magic lights then? Just fire and stuff? I had tried it but dismissed it as being colour/saturation based not actually effecting the lighting. I'll give it a whirl and let u know anyhow, thanks

Played with the settings (point light and ambient light intensity/curves, bloom and fire) and this is how it looks now but there's still a massive difference between certain interiors which I think is still down to magic light vs traditional fire/candle lighting. Increasing pointlight curves just made it overly saturated so I've actually lowered it and done the reverse for ambient lighting curve as that made it brighter and more saturated when I lowered it instead of when I increased it.

Any ideas/thoughts? It seems ok but it annoys me to no end that these lights are so... unbalanced. Interiors are about how I like them now, nearly anyway (I like them fairly dark, the hall of elements is actually to bright for my liking).
