A mod request... for Dark Souls 2

I know the game isn't out for PC yet so no one really knows how this could be done, but i just wanted to get the idea for what i belive is a nessisry mod out there.

They've made a lot of changes in Dark Souls 2. Some fine, some bad. But one sticks out as inexplicably dumb and game breaking.

Enemies no longer respawn.

 

Some people say they need to be killed 15 times before they stop respawning (not true), and others say there's an item to refresh an area but that also puts that area into NG+, and then NG++, and then NG+++ and so on each time you use it. Even if the item in question wasn't itself limited, it's still a soft cap on respawns.

This is terrible for a million reasons, not the least of which is the depressing thought of running around an empty game world with nothing to have fun killing.

One of the selling points of the game series, and one of my favorite aspects too, was the unforgiving difficulty. If you screwed up and died on a boss, you don't just get to try again, you have to fight your way back. That added it's own layer of difficulty and made things tense. There was a feeling that if you died, it actually meant something. That's gone now.

So please (please please) Dark Souls modders, consider a mod that fixes this and brings back Dark Souls style enemy respawns.
