I realize this may be a bit impossible to be done, but I'm going to throw the idea out there anyways: I would like the game to be more randomized (to the point of being more rogue-like). The most preferable method of this would be random map generation when you enter a mission. Even subtle changes such as items to climb to get to higher ground (ladders, drain pipes), cover-points (the amount of cover it provides, even the location of the coverpoint itself), enemy spawns, item spawns (bomb nodes, Meld containers, other items that have some form of activation), even the start point in the game could make a difference & keep things interesting. I realize this is probably impossible in scripted missions that are storyline-specific so I'm not worried about those, but for standard missions that do not have a storyline attached to them, this would be a HUGE improvement.
