Schmidt & Rubin Straight-Pull Bolt Action Rifle

As I was firing away with the Hunting Rifle at fire ants in Grayditch, I just thought how much smoother and quicker follow-up shots would be with a Schmidt & Rubin, like the K11

or the K31

Since I have no modeling talent to speak of, would anyone have any interest in adding such a gun to the game?

I know someone over on the New Vegas Nexus is already working on a K31, saw it posted in the imageshare last week. I'll look him up, see if he's willing to port it or let ya borrow the model.

Interesting factoid: The Schmidt-Rubin's straight-pull action, combined with the 7.5x55mm round, occasionally creates a vacuum that sucks the bolt forward after the rearward cocking stroke. If the shooter rides the trigger right, that can be used to effectively slam-fire the rifle. While I don't recommend it (it's dangerous and effing stupid), I can saw from experience that it's kinda fun!

Fallout 3 or New Vegas. I'm happy with the K31 being added to either one. Though I own a sporterized 96/11, I would rather the newer model be added, anyway.

I find it ironic that a bolt-action of such a design would be capable of accuracy that puts most traditional bolt-actions to shame.

Even riding the trigger, I'm amazed that the 7.5 round could create a vacuum, as the projectile has long since exited the muzzle even before the shooter cycles the bolt. Sounds like an interesting experience, though.
