Are you using ENBoost? SKSE 1.7? When you started over modding you did start a new game? DO you have the SKSE.ini ? with similar to the following in it?.. SO... Your cure too simple? maybe help me? <SNIP> Hey Jzeal, for me it was using TES5 and checking all of my mods. I had 3 that were causing major errors. I had no idea one could use TES5 to check for errors. Anyway, I removed the mods that were causing the errors, moved the two mods Georgiegril noted and like magic my game worked again. I had been unable to open any saved game. After taking those steps I not only opened my save but have played now for the last 4 hours. Beyond that, I'm absolutely of no help. I was as confused and baffled as you are now. I see others have posted things they would like to see in order to offer some help. They will help you I'm sure, so far everyone here has been so nice so I have no doubts they will narrow down if not identify your issues too. Good luck to you, and I hope it's not something horrible like uninstalling everything and starting from scratch. I did that last week and it took me 4 days to reload and test everything again only to have it break once more. TES5 is your friend when it comes to finding errors. :D Now if I could only figure out why I'm not getting experience for anything I'd be a very happy camper! I don't use FNIS cuz I didn't know I needed it. I read all the mod descriptions for requirements, load order, etc. and none of them have said I needed FNIS unless I overlooked it somehow. As for the # of unrecognized mods, I've submitted them all but the BOSS team doesn't seem to have gotten to those yet :( I had FNIS installed once but then dropped the mod that said I needed it. So when I rebuilt my game I left that out. Should I put it back in? I'm not seeing any issues beyond the not getting experience now. I try not to include anything I don't need so as not to overburden my game. I "try" but I may not always succeed LOL Some of the mod descriptions aren't as clear as they should be unfortunately. I probably have more armor mods installed than I need, I only use the armor from Temptress, Seraphine and Scarlet Dawn (I use pieces from each mod for my toon). But I do like seeing the other armors on the NPCs and I like putting them on display with my mannequins. I did have to uninstall one of the mods I was really looking forward to using, "Winterhold Immersive". I am still able to use "Winterhold College Improved" so it's not a total loss. I did lose the sorting mod, it had tons of errors.. unfortunate, I really like the sorting idea. My game is running fine now, no stuttering, no black screens and, most importantly, no CTDs! Well unless I try to enter my Breeze Home.. not sure what's up with that. I bought it, purchased all the things for it, but cannot go into it. I also can't use Elianora's mod for it, vanilla and modded I CTD when I try to enter it. These little things really really annoy me, but I'm not complaining too loud as I'm still able to play. That's my goal! :D Now if I can just figure something out for the experience I'm not getting. All the hours I played last night and not one tick of experience. That one has me totally baffled. Have you ever heard of that happening? I Googled it but can't find a thing on the web... very confusing. Thanks for your time and I appreciate you posting... I think I got confused by another poster who put up his load order in your thread. My bad. Not sure about the experience issue. Have you tried running your save through this tool. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363 . I'm not sure if it could help but maybe you got a buggy script or something.
