Hylia77
When I try to use BOSS it comes up with this error message: Error: masterlist update failed.Details: cURL could not perform task! cURL response: "Protocol https not supported or disabled in libcurl".Check the Troubleshooting section of the ReadMe for more information and possible solutions. I have tried looking in the troubleshooting section and couldn't find this error, and I have searched for answers online finding nothing! :(
Georgiegril
Are you using an older version of BOSS?The newest version is 2.2.0. You can get it here. The installer version makes it super easy to use. I know BOSS moved their site to GIThub a awhile back; if I recall correctly the old site came down permanently at the end of march. Maybe your computer's version is trying to reference the old site? Hylia77
Ok I was 2.1.1.Thanks for your help! I feel somewhat stupid now but I could of had a more simple error warning from BOSS to say that I can update or something like that. The error I got sounds very weird. Again I thank you! :)

My god man, are you really that ignorant. Just because you are running a 64bit OS doesn't mean there aren't any 32 bit programs running, heck Skyrim iself is a 32 bit program. Take a look at your C:\Program Files (x86) folder.. See all those folders in there?.. that's most of the 32 bit programs you have installed. The x86 vcredist (Visual C++ Redistributable Package) is for all the 32bit programs (such as BOSS) that need the specific VC++ runtime libraries, Skyrim itself even needs the VC++ 2010 Redist package and includes it. 32 bit programs cannot run off the 64bit libraries and vice versa. But anyhow, was having the same error and updating Boss to 2.2 solved it :)
