Hello!

 

I have an Intel i-5 4570 @ 3.2 with built in turbo boost up to 3.6 with 8g RAM, an ASUS GTX 760 w/2g VRAM, and a 1t HDD with plenty of space available.

 

I installed Steam and Skyrim both in a new folder on my C drive called Games so as to not have any issues with the Program Folder. It is the Legendary Edition with all DLC's and updates. I've installed SSME, SKSE, I use NMM and BOSS. I run a fair amount of mods but mostly texture, model and sound mods. Here's my BOSS log:

The unrecognized mod in the list is an .esp that goes along with another that is recognized, so I think that is ok. I've never used TES5Edit and feel kind of dumb now. Either way, thank you for the advice, I'll repost with results asap.

Bash tags are only suggestions if you use Wrye Bash to make a Bashed patch. Personally I have never needed to make one.

Probably you are right about that unsorted mod.

 

You do need to clean your DLCs, though. That may solve your problem. It seemed daunting to me at first, until I tried it. The tutorial makes it quite clear-cut, and the program makes a back-up you can go back to if you need to. But you probably wont need to.

Thank you VERY much for your help and advice. Every step of the way I've come to a problem and the good people of NexusMods have saved the day every time. It did seem quite the task at first. And I even messed up and had to utilize those backups and everything went smoothly. Again, thank you very much!

Your BOSS list looks good to me, too.

So, I guess we should look at a few other things.

 

There is a possibility that you are simply looking at a corrupt save. These can happen to anyone randomly. They are more likely if you are using quicksaves or autosaves, but even without those you may get a rare one.

Can you try loading your last full save and see if it loads properly? If it does, hopefully it is not too far from where your character is now, because the best thing to do would be to try to replay up to the point of your crash, where, hopefully, it will not crash again.

 

If you do that and it does crash the problem is more complicated, but there is no point trying to pick your game apart before ruling out save file corruption.

i crash a lot at morthal mostly where leilette apears or by the house at the mill in morthal, usually if i start in morthal(live another life mod) and do all of morthal first(including stealing merunes razor hilt) and become thane and buy the land i don't have to return and suffer the crashes later on(as after about 12 hours game play it starts crashing there), i am using an Nvidia card and suffer the crash with or without mods, my brother uses a radeon card and claims he never crashes there so could nvidia cards be the problem who knows but i hope 1 day i don't have to worry about it

 

EDIT: the crash for me is very repeatable as it has happened on atleast 20 different games at different times in the same spot at varying game time lengths... GRRRR
