Using an item to spawn an enemy.

Two options:

#1 Place a copy of the NPC at the desired location and set it to be disabled. In the script on the valve enable the NPC and activate them.

#2 Place a copy of the NPC in a hidden interior cell and set it to be enabled. In the script on the valve move the NPC to the desired location and activate them.

 

In either case you'll probably want some sort of graphic to hide the fade/pop in.
