Looking for a great and stable combination of mods...

Can anyone who has played Skyrim for many hours without any significant issues recommend what mod combination they use? I have a weaker system so I don't really care for visual mods, just gameplay mods or the such... I currently use SkyRe in combination with a lot of other mods, but It doesn't seem very stable, I almost always crash when I load my savegame and have to load a far earlier save to start the game, then load my current save game. That, and there also is the random crashes that occur quite rarely, but they never happened before I used SkyRe (I use SSME and ENBboost).

 

I'm near to completing my current run, and I would like to know about great mod combinations that are really stable, works well with all the DLC (I have the Legendary Edition), don't demand too much from your system, and are really immersive and fun to play for my next run, as more of a magic-warrior character. Any ideas?

Can't comment on max FPS capable, because I limit my FPS to 35 to allow the script engine additional firing time (60FPS gives 15ms for scripts, 35ms gives 30ms, so yeah I want 35 since this is a script heavy build). Of course FPS limiting to allow more script firing time only works if you can play the game way beyond 35ms. My specs (4th gen i5-4200U, GT 720m, 4GB RAM) with ENBoost and SKSE 1.7 (alpha with SSME) runs at 35FPS steadily. Prior to limiting, I was getting somewhere aroun 50-55FPS indoors, to 40-45FPS outdoors.

I play on my laptop, it's pretty low-end. Intel i5-430M (forgot the Hz values), ATI Mobility Radeon HD5145 1GB VRAM, and 4 GB of RAM. I usually play on a 1024x768 resolution, with textures set to high and everything else to low, AA off, Anisotropic filtering 8x, and get varied FPS ranging from 15 (Usually in Dwarven mines with all the steam and particle effects) to 40 FPS. I don't really mind low FPS, though, been playing games below 30 fps for years.

 

Your list is huge, I'm sure my laptop wouldn't be able to handle that amount of mods. I usually keep the quantity of mods that I use below 80. Currently, I think I have like 88 mods. Looking to cut this number down for my next run.

Had a similar system last year (only bought my current laptop this January): i5 460M (2.6Ghz), ATi Mobility Radeon HD 5470, 6GB RAM. I was able to run 255plugins on 1024x600 resolution at 25FPS. It's basically a balancing of mods and using those that don't hit the GPU too much.

Yeah, the balancing part is what's important. That's why I never use any visual enhancement mods, I know they will make things worse in terms of playability. That's why I'm looking for suggestions on what mod combinations work perfectly together and don't cause any crashes or other stability issues.
