DarkWolfModding Posted April 18, 2014 Share Posted April 18, 2014 So I have played the College of Winterhold quest-line a couple times and noticed a bug in one of the quests. So bad in fact that you need to use the console to fix it and that doesn't always work. As a modder myself this is a very annoying bug and one that needs to be fixed but I have no Idea how to do quest making and stuff like that so I ask for the mod community to go through the College Of Winterhold questline and check for bugs in the quests. The quest that I noticed the bug in is called "Revealing the Unseen" I will post links to some pages about the mages quest line. Bugged Quest: Revealing the UnseenBug starts: At quest stage 35 and 37. Notes: I would suggest going through the whole quest in the creation kit checking in game as well to make sure it works. The bug seems to be happening at the part where you give him the crystal and the part where you follow him to the oculory. Basically stage 30 - 200 need to be investigated with care to try and fix the bug. And I suggest you to look through every stage in the quest 10 - 200 Inspecting them for bugs. I would greatly appreciate this mod as its a bug that Bethesda is to lazy to fix and the Modding Community may not know this bug exists. Given that I've recently completed the CoW questline, and didn't observe any bugs, I would suggest that either 1) the bug has, actually, been fixed, 2) the bug is not game-breaking, and therefore fixing it is only desirable, not necessary, or 3) what you're seeing is actually a a problem caused by one or more mods. Right when you are supposed to give him the thing that you find from the falmer How does it prevent you from giving it to him? And what mods do you have installed?
