The Mantis Posted July 19, 2003 Share Posted July 19, 2003 It was 1:00 A.M. and all of balmora was sleeping. The only people on the streeets were the guards, Thomas, and Savyn Lopora a female Dunmer on her way home from the graveyard shift at the eight plates. Savyn left the bar and walked home. Her house was near the south wall. She walked across the bridge and heard a noise. It sounded like a footstep. She ignored it and continued home. Savyn unlocked her door and went inside and lit a candle. She then turned around to close the door. The door was closed.Panic began to fill her mind she turned around and ran upstairs, then locked herself in her bedroom. She sat on her bed and listened. The same footsteps from before entered her house and walked upstairs. Her body began to shake and her eyes began to tear. Someone was in her house. The footsteps stopped at her door and she could see the shadow through the crack. Meanwhile outsideThomas left the armorer and walked toward the cornerclub. His dagger was repaired and hidden under his robe. The light from the cornerclub had gone out and it seemed all the other lights on the street did to. He approached the cornerclub and reached for the handle. Suddenly Thomas heard a high pitched scream coming from one of the houses. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Erionia Posted July 19, 2003 Share Posted July 19, 2003 The scream became louder, then suddenly stopped. Thomas ran to the house and saw Erionia in a black robe sneaking out. The Mantis Posted July 19, 2003 Author Share Posted July 19, 2003 Thomas was hesitant to tell the guards. Eveybody in town knew he was a nightblade and would accuse him. Thomas ran inside the house and found Sayvn in her bedroom dead. He knew it was to late and decided to chase the killer. If he could catch her then the town would finally respect him. "Confounded comberry wine..." he thought bitterly, trying to clear his mind. he was trying to get back to the his room at the lucky lockup, but somehow couldnt find his way, and the streets seemed to stretch on in front of him. he leaned against a wall he didnt recognize and waited a little while. his head began to clear as the effects of the wine wore off, and set off again when suddenly, some sort of a humanoid wolf sped past him. he stared in the direction dumbly. Erionia Posted July 19, 2003 Share Posted July 19, 2003 Erionia walks around the town invisible to everyone around her, looking for any potential victims. She spots Thomas hiding in the graveyard. Suddenly she appears in front of him, and draws her dagger. "You will NEVER tell anyone about what you saw," she hissed. He begins to slump forward when suddenly a blue light surrounds his wound, and a healing spell seals the skin, reviving him. Behind Thomas stands a tall drow. Kain smiles at the wolfwoman.
