LilSoulCBH Posted April 27, 2014 Share Posted April 27, 2014 I’ve a suggestion for a mod that can add and/or modify one or more enchantments on gear (weapons, armor, clothing, jewelry, etc.), so that a player can get the exact variables they want from each of the enchantments they put on that piece of equipment. To accomplish this, the variables for each of the separate enchantments that the player sets, need to be completely excluded from the player character’s Enchantment skill level, enchanter perks, insightful enchanter, Seeker of Shadows, Ahzidal's Genius, enchanting potion used, etc... Basically, the mod needs to bypass those things altogether and simply let the player type in each of the individual variables that they want for each enchantment. Having the mod work through an in-game, menu driven interface would save an ENORMOUS amount of time and effort when a player wants to add enchantments to a lot of stuff, in comparison to say, using the creation kit to make each individual item. Especially for a player that might want to add enchantments with specific variables to dozens and dozens of items. The creation kit just does not seem to be a viable option for that situation. And I’m not even certain it’s possible to accomplish these things with multiple enchantments on a single piece of equipment via console commands. If it is, it would have to be very tedious and time consuming for lots of different gear. Does anyone else share the desire for a way to get multiple enchantments on a single piece of gear with the EXACT variables you desire? How about the viability of this idea? I’ve exactly zero skill in creating mods, so such a mod seems very difficult to accomplish to me.. And considering that after about two and a half years, a great enchantment modifier mod has not yet been distributed seems a bit telling. Giving the player the choice of adding even more than two enchantments to any piece of equipment they wish to enchant? I’ve seen a couple of mods that were released a long time ago that served that function. But if this idea does get picked up, it would seem a nice option to add into it.
