Sqoggle
Hi all,Recently started experience CTD with no error about a minute in to game or whenever fast travelling / entering new areas etc. Ive deleted all mods and done multiple clean installs, to no avail.Used BOSS and TESVedit to clean dirty edits.Only things I currently have are SKSE, All dlc in correct order, and NMM.Any advice? Here is current load order, from NMM.GameMode=Skyrim Skyrim.esm=1Update.esm=1Dawnguard.esm=1HearthFires.esm=1Dragonborn.esm=1HighResTexturePack01.esp=1HighResTexturePack02.esp=1HighResTexturePack03.esp=
Georgiegril
Well, unless you used the STEP Guide;s instructions to return to vanilla skyrim, and followed it to the letter, I would still put my money on remnants from your old game. After that, I would use TES5Edit to clean your DLCs.And get the Skyrim performance monitor to track how your hardware is responding to the game, along with what use is using your resources. slamm98
It's strange, if you really have no mods and you have made sure that the load order is correct everything should be fine. Try reinstalling the game and/or starting a new game just to make sure your saves are not corrupted. Good Luck!

Georgiegril
Are you looking at the Directx file inside steam\steamapps\common\skyrim?How many files do you have?
Sqoggle
Are you looking at the Directx file inside steam\steamapps\common\skyrim?How many files do you have?Disregard that, my error.Followed that guide to the measure, still getting CTD when I attempt to fast travel. Will see how long it lasts without doing so. EDIT: Just tried using a carriage and in the loading screen there was a map with a pickaxe and some other stuff on it, some were missing textures and were just a weird neon blue-purpley colour. Georgiegril
Missing textures after attempting to reinstall the game would suggest that the reinstall did not work completely.Try verifying your game cache on Steam.
