Advice Needed For Armory Overhaul

I endeavor to overhaul the armory of the Lakeview Manor in Hearthfire. The problem is, in the editor, other rooms occupy the same space, making it rather difficult to make any major changes.

Is there some way to temporarily disable the items associated with the rooms occupying the same space as the armory, or would I be better off just deleting them in the esp?

Actually, I think I figured out what to do: delete the items for the other rooms in the editor, but undo the deletions in TES5Edit.
