LE Lower-Tier Crossbow re-texture for you to use!

I've seen some mods that make crossbows appear a bit more commonly, however I thought the steel crossbow seemed a bit too good to be so very common, and that the limited array of crossbows from dawnguard made the whole thing rather boring.

 

I've also noticed that while there are plenty of custom crossbows past the steel level there seemed to be none that we lower level than them.

So I figured I'd make a iron-class sort of crossbow as a re-texture of the steel one, where the lever and bow parts are wooden, and the wood color is the same darker shade you'd find on iron weapon handles, and the remaining metal is matched to that of the iron weapons.

 

And I have, complete with matching normals, spec, and whatever you call that third one for the extra shiny metal.

 

Basically a lower tier crossbow.

 

Now I just need someone who wants to use this for a standalone lower-tier crossbow that shows up at appropriate places at appropriate times outside of dawnguard.

This looks really good! I could give this a shot later if nobody else has picked it up, although I doubt it, since it looks so pretty~ Shoot me a PM if nobody else steps up, this crossbow needs to be in Skyrim!

i have seen an wood made crossbow model a while back on the nexus, never found it again but i believe it whould be a nice thing to implement ingame.
