BOT999 Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Like the title says, my game crashes after having a nightmare with the archdemon before darkspawn ambush the party camp. Pressing escape/skipping the scene doesn't help. Prior to this, I finished the circle of magi, orzammar, the dalish and the sacred ashes quests, I also never went to redcliffe yet. I have played and finished the scene before with no problems. Mods that I have installed recently are:quinns unnofficial fix 2.0the winter forgenightmare +class and specializationsI have read through all of each of the mods descriptions and comments and I haven't seen thesame problems as I have. BOT999 Posted May 22, 2014 Author Share Posted May 22, 2014 yes, mostly weapons/armors like jojjo's weapons,elvhenan weapons, andrastes weapons and rls fashion bazaar. I also have mods like combat tweaks, faster stealth, universal dye, character respecialization and combat animations. I have appearance mods like more hairstyles bidelles cosmetics, pineapple vibrant colors, alhtough I supsect these type of mods aren't the gamebreakers that heavily change or tweak scripts. If you were using Improved Atmosphere + the DA2 Grey Warden armors, I would have suggested taking a look at this discussion (where someone else was experiencing the exact same issue), but since neither of them are involved, I'm at a loss. It isn't necessarily a script, either... could be a texture, or a mesh... DAO behaves very oddly sometimes. BOT999 Posted May 22, 2014 Author Share Posted May 22, 2014 could it possibly be getting sacred ashes befor going to redcliffe or the winterforge mod? winterforge always has these incompatibility warnings about using it with ftg ui, though I installed the compatibility patch from the optional files of both ftg ui and winterforge. grandmasterman Posted July 8, 2019 Share Posted July 8, 2019 For me it was the improved atmosphere mod that caused the crashes. But if you remove it and reload the save you will lose items.
