EDIT: Problem partly solved .

Hi, new here in the morrowind part of Nexus but been lurking around Oblivion/new vegas and Skyrim for awhile. I do hope that this one isnt the regular question, Ive searched but havent found any anwers.

To the question. I would like my game to look like this:

Ive installed the correct mods (vurts coral, MGSO 3.0) and rebuilt my distant land with the mods enabled. But I cant get my water too look that crisp and all the corals are so sparsley put in my water. What can I do? Vurt himself wrote:

well the water and fog is easily adjustable to whatever the user prefers in the morrowind.ini, from dark and muddy to perfectly clear, and in any color. You could question many things in this game, so i'm not too concerned with realism  The movement is just the normal MGE grass shader, my groundcover mod acts the same way where grass will bend as you walk through it.

but the changes Ive made in my morrowind ini hasnt changed it to look so crisp

Best regards.

I can't even get the coral to show up underwater in-game, and I set everything up as per the readme file for Vurt's Ground Cover, and read everything extensively on the Nexus site about how to do this. It just doesn't appear, though the grass everywhere else in the game certainly does. I've posted a new topic concerning this question, so I am wondering about it big time. Where is all the coral?

Hi Astroboy, just seen this post and I think you have to edit the XE Water.fx located in you shaders folder.

Hello Exodus, When installing the mod, Have you regenerate you distant land with vurt's coral in it ? Also once you've done that, don't check this mod in the morrowind launcher.

You can see corals near Seyda Neen If I'm not wrong. :)

Hi Lougian, sorry for not answering your post (did miss it).

Ive the same problem as Exodus is having, no corals at Seyda Neen. Ive followed the instrcutions by creating distant land with MGEXE, tick the coral.esp and then untick it in the game launcher.

Thanks for the xe water.fx advice, its scary to fool around with the shaders but back ups makes it less hard

I don't know where the problem is coming from, but I have checked in Seyda Neen and there is no Coral there. I found some in the south of Vivec ! Hope it works for you, too bad this mod has been abandonned.

Found them there and as well at the eastern part of the world. Thank you for all the help

If you are using MGSO 3.0 then the problem likely is there. You should go and start a thread at the Bethesda Forums and you will get the right help over there.

The reason why the water isn't clear in with MGSO 3.0 is because of all the Shaders that are used. To access the Shader folder you need to go to your Morrowind folder and click on MGXEgui application. (Make sure that you updated your mgeXE by following the instructions here first.) Once the MGEXEgui application has started you will see a button called "SHADER SET UP", click it. You will see all the available shaders and below the shaders currently being used in the "ACTIVE SHADERS" list. In the active shaders list, double click on Underwater effects (remember the order where the shader belongs because that IS important) and the shader should be removed from the list. Click SAVE and close the window and then close then close the MGEXEgui window.

Done
