Well, I'm sure everyone who's anyone (unless they're American) is familiar with the great British comedy Blackadder. If not, Google it. Go on, you'll be addicted.

Regardless, here a proposition for a short quest and companion: You receive a letter from a lawyer in the Imperial City (John Spelunkunson of Justinian, Pomponius and Melchett: Lawyers for the Extremely Wealthy and Decadent) informing you that you're the last living member of the famed Blackadder family, and have inherited the title Lord/ Lady Blackadder. Unfortunately, your sadistic great uncle twice removed, Edmund Felonius Blackadder, has written a codicle (I think, but John isn't sure of the terminology either) into the will: you have to prove your worth as a Blackadder to earn it.

How, exactly, I've not yet written, but you'll have to complete a few quests to earn the title of Lord/ Lady, a ring of lordship (modeled on the ring from the first Blackadder), and a Baldrick as a companion (preferably with unique dialogue, not the default CM), and the Blackadder raiment (I'm thinking a black reskin of Haskil's suit for the males mesh, and Exnem Mania regalia for the female, done all in black with the serpent crest on the right should for the menís, and serpents around the sleeves for the womenís*).

I'll, of course, give kudos to all who help make this real; all I can do is write the dialogue.

Also... who thinks the Haskil/ Sheogorath relationship was inspired by the Blackadder and George of season three? I mean, George and Sheo are pretty alike, and even talk about brain pies!

Perhaps his body guards could be that group of criminals from the first series? If of course you intend to give him bodyguards.

My bad :P Misread it.

Easy enough to do.

Anyway, those dues were awesome, evenn if I don't like the first season.

My favorite was the lecherous priest.

Indeed. Still I won't drag this off topic so I'll just put off topicness in spoiler tags.

Do you have ideas for the quests already?

Spoiler

Well, it would have to be something that would require that character, if evil, to do somehting both wicked and Machiavellian, and to come out on top while acting against all odds, and probably bedding an attractive person before betraying them. If good, a person would have to cunningly fulfill every requirement while twisting the Lord Blackadder's (ooo, new idea, it's his GHOST you have to please to inherit) conditions so badly you wind up doing good.

I've only watched one episode, and now I have to buy the DVD sets. ;D

Anything you need for this that I can make, Kieran, I will.

Oh, thank you, my friend.

Actually. I would kill for the ring and rainment I mentioned.

as before: The male version an all black reskin of Haskill's suit, with the Blackadder crest on the shoulder, left or right, whichever. The female: a black reskin of the Mania regalia (exnem mesh, if possible), with grey serpents patterns on the sleeves.

My friend, I am indebted.

Also... yes, trust me, the DVD set BBC puts out is a winner. All the episodes, the specials... oh, it's a fans dream.

I saw that over here in Aus at a BBC shop, but it was a bit pricey. I'd have to save up :\
