New Vegas House Help

Hi. I don't really know how to start this so I'm just going for it. I'm trying to make a house mod and I just wanted to know if someone could explain something to me. I was using the Rancho Villa mod(this is the best example I could find) and I just wanted to know how the windows were transparent. I asked the author and he told me to load it up in the GECK. I did, and I still don't understand. In game, you can walk from Goodsprings to the house, but in the GECK, its listed as an interior cell and Goodsprings is nowhere in sight. Can someone with some experience explain this to me. I'm not a novice modder, but I just got a custom mesh into the game. Sorry if the picture sucks. Only allowed so much space.

Not entirely sure what you mean, here- you don't have to go through a loading screen to get into the house ingame? But it is an interior cell in the GECK?

You have to go through a 2-3 second loading screen and then you can see out the windows to the outside. If you have and ENB then you can see the rain snow etc. Really what I'm asking is how can I see outside with the windows.

there are two ways to do this,

create a new worldspace and build your interior with the glass windows in it looking out at your new worldspace or create an interior cell with glass windows and then create a fake exterior the player sees through the windows. In the cell edit window you can check a box that makes the interior use the lighting, day night cycle of a worldspace.

I looked at this mod a long time ago but don't remember how it was done off hand.
