Horse Camera Fiasco - A mod to fix or kill the function

The way the horse camera functions in Skyrim makes me despise riding horses. It's something that should feel satisfying and enjoyable, but the camera causes difficulty with visibility and immersion. It also can be of issue with features such as Depth of Field, and is just a general pain in the groin.

To put it short, it needs to go. For me, ideally, would be to have a mod that removes the changes from 'On-foot to Horse', so that the camera stays in the 'on-foot' setting mounted or not. It would work wonders for me, seeing as I use Arindel's Customizable Camera to not only fix, but prefer the third-person setting at all times. I imagine it would be nice in first person as well.

If we can't remove the function, it needs fixed. Arindel's Customizable Camera allows the user to fix vanilla Skyrim's atrocious third-person mode. What is it about the Horse camera that is so difficult or different that it can't have a similar mod? I would not know, but I can't imagine it's a whole lot different. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I am quite certain I'm not the first to think that a mod should be around to fix this. mtgAzim had a very promising mod in the works for just this sort of feature, but I hear it no longer works as of the Mounted Combat update for Skyrim. It's really too bad! Give the video of that mod a watch. The ride looks pleasant.

I hope other users feel my pain. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to attempt or discuss this sort of mod!
