Sluggy42 Posted June 26, 2014 Share Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) Recently (today) I bought and installed Dawnguard off Steam. Everything was fine with it, killed a whole bandit camp in werewolf form and upgraded the werewolf perks, no lag at all. At the time I was on the Dark Brotherhood's quest to kill the bandit and the women in Windhelm, Nilsine. I planned to kill here in the manner below: Use the Dark Cowl from Sneak Tools (No one recognises you when you wear it) and backstab her in the open then run away and take off the Cowl. Firstly it did not let me slit her throat and when I killed her and ran I got random lag spikes. I ran far away from Windhelm and took off the Cowl then quicksaved, the game froze right then and only about 10seconds later it resumed. Please help. I will try and delete Sneak Tools and see if that works and will also try going back to a previous save.
