Hi people! As some might have noticed, I am doing sort-of return to modding scene and I am looking for some ideas.

I am currently working on two mods. DLC integration patch and my "Magical Equipment" mod.

(when I'm too tired to alter stuff, I work on integration patch, thus these mods don't suffer from the existence of the other. bwaha)

Link to Magical Equipment:

People don't seem to read the comments section of my mod any longer, so I kinda had to start topic on this matter.

I'm really open to suggestions.

What my mod currently adds:

Books that you can wear with enchantments on them

Books that can be enchanted

Scroll packs and quiver that can be enchanted

"Lich Helmet", glass helmet that is textured so it looks a bit like the helmet liches wore in Oblivion. (You can see it on my "Oblivionwalker armor" mod page, I altered it a bit more)

"Lich robes", red robes, a bit similar to ones seen in Oblivion.

At least one ring

Two staves

And additionally I am asking:

Skull masks

Some cool hood/scarves. (Thanks to the maker of "Apotheus armor")

More unique robes and clothes, for mages of course.

Plaque doctor outfit!

More to come

However, I am looking for some special modder resources:

1. Skull mask/skull helmet (This one I have, thanks to ghosu, but more would be appreciated.)
2. Armors that can be torn apart in Nifskope.
^ For example, armor mashups. Robes that clearly have parts from other armors in it. (For example, pauldrons)
3. Random clutter that you think would be cool as staff/wearable addition

Also, I am looking for ideas and tips.

I have tons of ideas, but I don't know if I should add them all to this mod or start separate mods for those.

As I could make it so that some of the books would give player some unique spells.

Post your ideas and requests here, this time I might end up actually making the stuff!

Also, completely new meshes are out of question. Can't do that.

Some progress to make you pay attention:

Each piece (Hood, scarf, mask) is separate item and can be used at the same time or without others.
Probably gonna make them unenchanted, so nobody has reason to complain

I cannot believe people are ignoring topic that allows

REQUESTING STUFF.

suggestions? Sure!

Centurion dynamo core: Stick it on a stave and have it stagger dwarven constructs of all types Or make it equippable and have it make constructs either friendly towards you or less likely to notice you through sneak buffs?

Goat horns/ antlers etc: Have them be equippable and have them stagger anything that attacks you in melee range.

Ancient traveler's skull: Its some unique item you can find in a pass. Have it summon the ghost of the ancient traveler as your ally.

Bellows: call them "magical" and make them a staff, have them either stagger or blow targets away fus ro dah style.

Quill: The pen is mightier enchantment, have it cast a run directly underneath the target or wherever you point it. staff form obviously

Shovel: staff form, magical have it kick up dirt and knockdown anyone near the impact point,

"Ancient traveler's skull: Its some unique item you can find in a pass. Have it summon the ghost of the ancient traveler as your ally."

Hey, I like this one

I didn't even think about "Non-equippable" items. Just gotta find out how to make them give spells to your character..

One way is to make it "wearable", but without appearance, and when used it'd summon the person.

But yeah, fully possible and fun item.

Could give the fella some unique looks.

"Centurion dynamo core: Stick it on a stave and have it stagger dwarven constructs of all types Or make it equippable and have it make constructs either friendly towards you or less likely to notice you through sneak buffs?"

Mm.. Why bother using some makeshift stuff when I could use something really fancy? There's perfect modder's resource for something like this.

Quill and shovel are something I like. Could give unique look to that quill, possibly even place it somewhere "easy" to spot, hard to notice location.

But yes, I can promise that the quill and skull are gonna get in, and dwemer thingy if I can figure out something unique for it.

  • 4 weeks later...

I know you already read my request in the forums but could you make a sithis armor with high stats for a necromancer type character? and with a hood that you can put over the bandage mask in the mad masker mod

I'll look into it. And despite I read your request in forums I appreciate you posted it here as well.

I have made many promises on stuff I was going to make, but I can no longer remember what those things were.

(If you feel slight burn in your heart that I have promised you something, just throw it into comment section)

Also, other ideas, and some requests are appreciated as well.

I'm really open to ideas, basically anything mage- based is something I consider.

(Or some cool set ideas that could fit casters/such)

For example, things I am going to do: "Robes of Sithis", and plaque doctor set.

Also idk if you can or cant but if you can: could you make the sithis robes combatable with the Skeleton race mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10622/?

Might be difficult, It'd need compatibility patch.

I assume the "body type" it uses is not based on any vanilla playable race, thus it needs to be enabled with patch. (Or simply, loading my mod + that mod in CK, my mod as active and then adjusting the armor addon to be visible on skeleton race)

Anyhow, I do my best.
