115MAGGOT115 Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 I love all the mead and ale, but where is the rum and vodka? Vodka is quite Finnish, which if I'm not mistaken was a a Scandinavian country. So I think Vodka would fit in nicely with all the alcohols. Rum too, just because Rum. It was consumed a lot by sailors so eh, why not? Scandinavians sailed a lot. They did have some winter wine that was close to brandy though ( frozen & ice removed leaving a higher alcohol content.) Brandy was probably the earliest distilled beverage as it is made by boiling the alcohol out of wine and condensing it back into a liquid with a higher alcohol content. However, Skyrim is NOT the real world it is a fantasy world where it is entirely possible that distilling was invented by some alchemist already and may even be a high art.
