When I went back to the bedrooms, my bed (pretty sure it's mine, as all the stuff around the bed appears to be mine) is marked as owned (and travelling round there several times indicates they're all owned). and I can't sleep there. Is that likely to clear itself up, or would it be (a) safe and (b) possible to go into the console, select the bed and make me the owner ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tesprogrammer Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 (edited) Yes, it's safe and possible if you use it in your bed (if you use in other npc's bed they will be prevented from using it). Open the console (~), select the bed and type "setownership"(without quotes). With the information you provided, seems the quest just bugged and you weren't marked as the owner. TwilightDB Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 If you have any older installed follower that you pick up from inside the College of Winterhold like Danarial Stormbow; i think it can cause a conflict with the college NPCs and you may not be able to use any beds.
