help, I can't change grass density at all

at first I thought it's grass mod problem but I tried without any mod and It just doesn't work

 

changing number in iMinGrassSize=xxx doesn't change anything at all

 

here's my setting

 

skyrim.ini

[Grass]

b30GrassVS=0

bAllowLoadGrass=0

bAllowCreateGrass=1

iMinGrassSize=40 or whatever

skyrimpref.ini

[Grass]

b30GrassVS=0

bAllowLoadGrass=0

bAllowCreateGrass=1

fGrassStartFadeDistance=7000

fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=7000.0000

fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0000

I'm trying to make it work with Grass on Steroid mod

Probably because your number is set so high. Try 10, not 40.

I tried that

and Grass on Steroid mod FPS boost even supposed to set it at 120

lower or higher, it doesn't change any thing at all for me
