Custom Races/Monsters NPCs using models from DAZ3D-Poser-Turbosquid

Just a newbie question: it would be possible to create, as anticipated in the topic title, custom Races and or Monsters NPCs using models acquired from DAZ3D or Poser or Turbosquid marketplaces?

I mean, after having bought for example one character model, it is possible to rig it with appropriate skeleton, texturize, animate, to make the necessary file formats conversions and use it as a Skyrim mod? It would be technically possible? Feasible in monetary terms? and in legal terms?

Anyone who likes to discuss about it or who knows more than me and like to explain is well accepted.

Technically possible. Potentially feasible in monetary terms. Legally - not so much. Copyright laws must be met, in many cases when someone takes a model from one format and converts it to another they do not have the legal right to do so as well as distribute that model to the general public for free. It's been done before, the people have been banned from here as well as Daz and Poser sites (or ended up entirely unable to release the mods they were working on) and it's not a topic for general discussion.

If you have questions regarding copyrights you'd best go directly to the staff to get them answered.

I don't want to go against any copyright, if i will only be allowed to keep it as a personal mod i would do so; if i will not be allowed to distribute it for free i will not do it, and if i will be allowed to distribute it for pay, maybe i would do it. For now i think that i will also contact the websites i mentioned in my question. thank you for your answer

Looking for information on converting new 3d models from Daz3d, I found this thread. The question I have is regarding 100% new models created using it. I'm assuming that a new model or texture using Daz3d would be perfectly legal to export into a mod for publication, since it would be new, and not under their ownership/license. Is this correct, or is it a grey area/no-go?
