ON YOUR FEET! (Faster Recovery)

IMO, there's nothing more frustrating than the Dragonborn taking 5 to 10 seconds to get up after being knocked down by a Draugr's Thu'um. Seriously, if I had higher stamina than my steed (and my DB actually does), I'd be up on my feet toot-sweet. Hell, I'm physically impaired, and I can get on my feet faster.

What I'd like to see is a mod that improves the time it takes the Dragonborn to get back up on their feet after being knocked down.

I apologize if it already exists. I'm only posting this because I was unable to find such a mod.

okay first its about 5 seconds. second I doubt you have ever been hit by a sonic boom

1. IIRC, I did say "5 to 10 seconds." I didn't put it to a stopwatch, so I was approximating. Would hyperbole have been preferable?

2. No, but I also don't have the soul of a dragon. Isn't the fact that the Dragonborn is...well...the Dragonborn reason enough for them to be able to get up a little faster? I realize that surviving a sonic boom is impressive enough, but why not make them get up faster? As I see it, being Dragonborn should negate the nature of how they were knocked down, and that getting up from a sonic boom should be no more taxing than getting back up as though they simply fell over.

To actually help you out and stay on topic, here you go, OP.

Much appreciated. Now, I feel kinda silly that I wasn't able to find that mod. Then again, for some reason, the search function has never worked 100% for me.

First, the dragonborn have the body of a mortal like you and me, just the soul of a dragon that let's them shout easily.

He still feel pain and it's that pain that causes him to react more slowly, just like you move more slowly when your limbs hurt, only when that pain has subside a bit that he can move more quickly.

IMO I think you're requesting this mod because you're either impatient or simply got killed a lot which getting up rather than for immersion.

So, the only benefit to having the soul of a dragon is they have the innate ability to shout? I thought there was more to it that, like being able to absorb the soul of a dragon, being able to survive an onslaught of the Greybeards (in a test to see if the character was truly dragonborn)... Also, what was Delphine saying about the Dragonborn being the greatest of all dragon slayers?

Do my reasons for requesting the mod even matter? As it turns out, the mod already exists, so I wouldn't think so.

Do you have any stake in all of this, or are you just a troll?
