narshanine
Well the title says everything pretty much..I made a sheath for my custom made sword and I changed Scb data from NifSkope. However, for some reason, Sheath is bigger than what I expected and I can see the back of the blade sticking out through the sheath. (Happens only in the game)I checked the sword and sheath object through Cinema 4D and NifSkope but they have no problem showing the sheath is right sized. There is not a single hint of blade sticking out either. But whenever I check it in the game the sheath is longer than I expected and I can see blade sticking out.. Already tried translation and scale in NifSkope but that didn't change a thing.. I don't think it even changed the scale and translation in the first place..I cannot think of a single reason why this is happening.. Are there any fix for this? trold
Did you click 'Apply' in the transform menu in nifskope after the edit? I can't remember if this is necessary with weapons.
narshanine
@ trold I do not remember ever pressing Apply button but I've just fixed the problem.Strangely I had to translate the sheath to negative value... Now it comes out perfectly in the game.Funny that now that the sheath goes over the handguard in NifSkope and Cinema 4D.. Yet it comes out properly in the game.. trold
Sorry, my other post was actually poorly wriiten haha. I meant that hitting apply after transform would possibly fix the problem.
