Herobrine514
I recently installed NMM in order to install A Quality World Map. However, nothing happens when I click Download(NMM) using my main browser, Chrome. I tried using Firefox to download it and, like Chrome, nothing happened. Then, when I tried to download it using Internet Explorer, this message popped up: "Unable to open this helper application for nxm://Skyrim/mods/4929/files/23750. The protocol specified in this address is not valid.Make sure the address is correct, and try again." Can someone help me please? I am using Windows 7, my NMM folder is located in Computer\Os(C:)\Games, and my Steam folder is in Program Files (x86). Xelan255
Firefox and chrome get a special link after you click on the download via NMM button. To handle this link they need to forward it to another program, in this case the NMM. What you describe sounds like your browsers don't know what do to with that link. Did you try other mods? Either the link is broken or your browsers don't know where to forward the link to. But usually you would get a message for that, so a guess the link might be broken.
