Blocky Model After Export from 3ds Max

I'm new to modding so I'm still learning my way around all the programs. I'm trying to remove the horns from all the horned helmets in the game.

 

I'm using Figment's niftools plugin to import and export the meshes to and from 3ds Max. I then use Nifskope to put the correct textures on.

 

But when I get them in game, the models look all blocky and polygonal.

 

 

 

Can anyone tell me how I can fix this?

 

Here's my import/export settings if that helps.

It seems every polygon got its own smoothing group, which makes it look all blocky and weird.

For quick fix: Set the whole mesh to 1 smoothing group.

For more advanced fix: Only change smoothing group at 90 Degree angles.

 

If you are unsure about smoothing groups; google it. I am too tired to go into it.
